Kitchen Cabinet redo
We've been in the process of re-doing our kitchen cabinets for a while now. We repainted and then glazed them for a little "old world" look. I'm not really sure you can see that here though. I love the dark painted trim and kick boards. I think it really bring the whole look together. Now we just have to repaint the walls....you can see we've been experimenting with colors above the sink.

New Kitchen Floor
| Rob tearing up old laminate floor |
| In the meantime our kitchen is in our living room. |

| And it spilled over onto our dining room table. That little cabinet space is my only working cooking space right now. Needless to say, we are having a lot of sandwiches lately. |
| Hello stove and food storage in the living room. |
| Ahhh, the new tile floor |

Hilton Head
| We went dolphin watching one day. Rob was way excited as you can see. |
| Either Wyatt is scouting for dolphins or he's knows how to salute. "Aye, aye Cap'n!" |
![]() |
| Totally ready to see some dolphins! |
| The dolphins were up and down so quick it was hard to get a good picture. This is the best one I got. |

| These kids are just so darn cute. Our nephews, Wyatt and Cole |
![]() |
| We decided to go put-put golfing one morning. It was so humid. We were disgustingly wet by the time we got done. You can see my face dripping...gross. |
![]() |
| They had these fun wooden characters. |
![]() |
| Rob really like this one. They have the same features! |
![]() |
| The cave of doom |
![]() |
| This guy wouldn't give back Rob's club. |
![]() |
| On our way back to the condo we saw this huge gator off the side of the road. Yikers! |
![]() |
| Of course you can't go to the beach without catching a few waves. |

| Rob was pretty good on the boogie board |
| You can't have a 4th of July without something that glows or sparkles. |
| Waiting for the fireworks to starts. We had a great view. The barge where they launched them from was right off the dock we were sitting on. |
| Proof that I went tubing on the ocean. It was pretty darn fun. Good thing Wyatt was there to keep me safe :) |
| Rob and Cole had a ton of fun on the waves. |

Branson weekend
![]() |
| The Brett Family |
![]() | |
| We went into this shop where they had amazing carvings. One guy was even carving little ornaments while we were in the store. He did some amazing things. Check out this lamp |
![]() |
| Wood-carved Santa. This thing was like 7 ft tall. |
![]() |
| Rob's dad. I think we need this chair on our front porch. |
![]() |
| One show we went to was a Kung-Fu show. Rob and his dad bought these Chinese shirts. Don't you think they look like they are from China? |
![]() |
| On the way home from Branson we stopped in Memphis and ate at a place that raved they have the best ribs in town. Sorry....I still think Texas Roadhouse wins out. |
![]() |
| Rob is debating over the "Best Ribs" claim also. The ribs lost. |
![]() |
| Me and Elvis |
![]() |
| On our way home we went through this weird cloud. The picture looks like it has bad light, but it really did look like we were in the 1970s. Everything around us was orange. Weird. |

Garden delight
Here are some great things we've been growing lately. I don't understand
Tennessee yet because one year I'll get great big peppers and a zillion
tomatoes, the next year I'll get 1 little measly green blob resembling
what could be a pepper and maybe 5 tomatoes. I still haven't had great
success with zucchini....I mean seriously. Don't those things grow even
when you don't plant them? This year we are having great luck with
green beans, beets, cucumbers, green peppers, lettuce and spinach. I got
a bowl full of peas (I'm seriously thinking they aren't worth the space
in the garden because I never get much from them) and the jury is still
out on carrots and tomatoes. Enjoy seeing our spoils!
| Our first picking: green beans, peas, banana pepper |
| 2nd picking: more green beans, cucumbers, green pepper |
| more peppers! |
| Lettuce, spinach, and zucchini (don't let the big plant fool you...we'll see if it delivers) |
| My square foot garden. It's amazing everything that can come from such a small space! |
| I love seeing things grow like this. You my friend will soon be a pickle in a jar :) |

March Madness
| My company gave me free hockey tickets 8 rows up from the middle of the ice. It was pretty awesome. |
| Go Preds! |

| Rob's birthday fell on a Monday this year. So like the good wife I am :) I woke up at the crack of 5 to take pictures of the birthday boy opening his presents. He's so excited, can't you tell? |
| I promise he's not meditating here- well, meditating which gift to open first I guess! |
| Birthday breakfast = orange sweet rolls and chocolate milk! |
| Yay for "free" memorabilia. |
| Oh yeah, and I'm blonde again. |
