Rob and I took a road trip to Metropolis, IL. Every year they have a superman convention of sorts although a lot of it was more than just superman stuff. We were actually pretty disappointed in what the small town had to offer, but it was nice to get away for a day and we definitely got to see some interesting things (painted green rocks posing as kryptonite that people actually bought) and try out a few new things too!

You could pay money to get your picture taken inside the Batmobile. We settled for just taking our own picture of it without us inside.
This was someone's personal car they had painted. Kinda cool, but really?
We stopped by Harrah's Casino, not to gamble, but just to look inside. I'd never been inside a casino before. It wasn't that great. A lot of old people gambling away their life's work.
